UPDATE

HEARING FROM THE AUDIENCE ON ITEMS NOT LISTED ON THE AGENDA

ZA22-001. LCPA22-001. ADU Implementation. A request for a recommendation from the Planning Commission to the City Council on the proposed zoning code amendment/Local Coastal Program (LCP) amendment to repeal and replace the City’s Accessory Dwelling Unit Regulations in Del Mar Municipal Code/LCP Chapter 30.91 in compliance with State law. The draft amendments are intended to harmonize the laws set forth in Government Code Sections 65852.2 and 65852.22 with the Coastal Act and include provisions to implement Housing Element Program 2A (ADU Incentives), Program 2B (Amnesty Program), and Program 2F (Provisions for Tiny Homes). The City Council will consider the amendments in future noticed public hearings.
